Restoring Balance to the Egyptian Medical Education and the Health Care System Conference

Health care for Egyptians is one of the most challenging tasks facing Egyptians today. It is one of a tremendous proportion to require a multi-disciplinary and a multi-faceted approach. With the new political and social development in Egyptian society, an equally dynamic realization of the Egyptian Psyche has developed regarding health care. With a census approaching 100 million, Egyptians are looking more and more into bringing a balance to the provision of health care scheme to all members of the society. Furthermore, besides Education, health care occupies the next concern on the minds and hearts of all Egyptians of different socio-economic classes.

The conference vision of establishing balance to the health care system centers primarily on the creation of a positive and strong link of four cornerstones in the health care system. First of them is the medical education system.  Second is the Insurance companies and third Payers parties. Third is the facility of health care establishments which comprise medical centers, nursing homes, research institutes and hospice care centers. The fourth is the human factor represented by the physicians, nurses and all allied health care workers. Without the integration and harmonious cooperation of the four parties no planned health care provision is possible.
